Ava's Mint and Purple Dance Theme Party

Hi again after a long haitus...I have been enjoying time with my kids and getting to get away on a short vacation this summer.  How did you spend your summer?  Hopefully you got some rest and relaxation.

My baby turned three this August and we celebrated with a dance themed birthday this year since she is what we call our little dancer.  Because she is such a free spirit we made sure her birthday echoed her personality.  We made sure to include some things that she loves most.. some good music, sweets, and some diy ribbon wands so she and her birthday guests could be free to dance and let their "freak flag fly".   We enlisted the help of Retrospect Photography  whom I met through my photographer friend Juli Labrecque Photography and her photography is amazing!  Thank you Stephanie for the beautiful photos!  We ordered balloons from Balloonatic and they were gorgeous and fit the color scheme perfectly!  If you haven't heard of her you must check out her work!  I made a fox piñata since "What did the fox say?" is one of Ava's favorite songs and followed diy instructions from Oh Happy Day.

We included in the dessert table some cupcakes, macarons, ice cream cone cake pops, rice krispie treats, rum lime coconut bars and mini cheesecakes and a funfetti buttercream cake to celebrate and serve the guests.
